I've been out at SIGGRAPH 2010 for the past few days, and have had a lot of time to talk to a lot of great people about different technologies, open-source motion control, and to be honest, I've spent a lot of time on my feet!  I want to thank the all of the guys from xRez Studio for inviting me out and introducing me to lot of people, and introducing the OpenMoco project to a larger audience.

Yesterday, we did a presentation in The Studio to a standing-room only audience on DIY motion control, the Arduino platform and how it can be used to solve every day problems in the studio and in the field. For my part, I covered the history of the OpenMoco project, new developments in open hardware, and a quick glimpse into the future.  The Powerpoint presentation is available here: om_sig2010_studio.ppt

For those without powerpoint, you can download images of each slide here: images or view the slideshow above.
