Nice! I like it. Great to see that others are using OnDrives gears as well. I am currently using the pf20 series (Nema17) for my pan/tilt head build.
How are you going to attach the pan axis to the gear? The whole weight of your head is attached to it.

I added some revised drawings and a description of the pan axle to lower frame connection to http://johnpilgrim.net/MoCo
All of the weight of the lower frame is transferred to the horizontal arm via thrust bearings; the gearbox only provides torque.
I'm still working out the specifics of the stacking order.

I like it. I am using thrust bearings as well on my motors. Thanks for your post; this gives me new thoughts about future designs!
