Hello from Seattle

Hi there,

I'm building a pan-tilt rig for use with an unusual camera/lens system I'm building.

In short, I have a crazy high magnification thermal IR camera I've built:

My plan is to do "gigathermopanning" with it.

I am nearly done with the hardware and electronics, and was about to get started working on software. I already wrote something quite like OpenMoCo for use on a microscope stage I built.. but google led me here tonight when I should have been sleeping.

Anyway, I'm going to try and load up the firmware for the timelaps stuff - - I may in fact have some improvements to the code (I have some proper linear accel stuff for the Arduino which I may patch in.. but what's in the code now looks pretty good).

Anyway, I just wanted to drop a hello..

Very nice work! I'd love to

Very nice work! I'd love to see more details on the camera, used to shoot IR, and wouldn't mind getting back into it with different direction!

Always happy to take improvements, about to make an announcement in the next week on some stuff I've been working on regarding the engine (moving from one CPU for 4-axis to 1 CPU per axis to open up more capabilities, adding in networking between the OMTLEs, some new hardware that'll be available ready to run, Qt C++ threaded control library, etc.) after I get the last few tests knocked out on the new hardware. (Will still need another prototype run, but should at least be demonstrable =)

Let me know if you want SVN access to commit.
