he,
i´m new here and after spending some days constructing my own motion control slider it is working.
the only thing that i can´t get up and running is the sleep function of the motor.
my motor is getting very hot right now because of the constant power running through, so does anyone know how i can enable the sleep function when the motor is not moving?
Thanx,
Daan

Hi Daan, Yes, you can do
Hi Daan,
Yes, you can do that. Look at the kill command in Slim. You can wire the kill line from the Arduino to your motor driver to do this.
I have done this with the Time Lapse Engine in combination with a EasyDriver board.
Note that the upcoming nanoMoco board will have kill already on board as the default setting. That is working great!
Cheers,
Andre
