Compile Perl API on Windows 7 Starter

Posted in

I have been trying to compile the Perl API for a while now. I want it to run om my Netbook (don't know why I ever bought that slow thing).

I have Slim running on OSX, but Windows 7 Starter is giving me the following error:

syntax error at -e line 1, near "'755')
"

Missing right curly or square bracket at -e line 1, at end of line
Execution of -e aborted due to compilation errors.
NMAKE : fatal error U1077: 'C:\Perl\bin\perl.exe' : return code '0xff'
Stop.

I have installed Perl and the Serial library. This error is not on the forum yet.

Can anyone please help me out with this?
