Is it ok if I use a UNO instead of a Duemilanove?

Hi!

I'm from Argentina and I'm having trouble to get a Duemilanove board (the italian one, there are lots of chinese versions around).

There's a guy who can sell me a UNO with a ATMega328 chip but since I have no idea about this stuff I have to ask: will it work with the DollyShield DIY kit from Dynamic Perception?

Again, I have no knowledge about this so I need it to be as easy as possible for me to build it, that's why I'm a bit worried about getting a wrong board.

Yes, an Uno should work fine.

Yes, an Uno should work fine. The only issue is if you intend to use the simple firmware update utility from DP, it won't work due to differences in the USB converter. But, it will work just fine uploading via the Arduino IDE.
