Which Arduino?

I was siting down with my parts the other day and discovered that the OM software requires a Duemilanove. I have a Diecimila and was going to switch out the processor to a 328. Will this work in the short term for testing? I have a Duemilanove on order but nothing ever happens on time or overnight! I have pretty much every thing else I needed. I know there are a few things different between the 2 boards mostly just convenience stuff I think.

That's perfectly fine - it will work with any arduino board w/ a 328 chip. I prefer the ...nove due to the auto-selecting of power sources.
