I am looking at other alternatives to the LCD provided in the MX2 Dolly Shield kit. Are there any particular requirements (power, pins, otherwise) of the PCB provided in the kit?
Specifically, I'm looking at using something like this: http://www.adafruit.com/products/399 or another similar solution that would provide a red backlit display for night work.
