Reading over the "Serial Protocol Command: Engine Control" document... I've found an important command missing. "Move motor X at Y speed".
This specific command will be very helpful in wiring up analog joysticks chained to OpenMoco.
My current interface uses an analog stick to control pan/tilt position, plus focus. I'd be able to use the engine more or less right out of the box if there was such a call available. I'll be taking a crack at implementing this myself (with proper PID loop control so that we don't miss steps)... but I wanted to drop a note on here just to make sure that:
- I wasn't missing something
- or somebody wasn't already working on this feature and it's available somewhere.
Cheers,

Hi 3ric - I know it's a bit
Hi 3ric - I know it's a bit late on the post, but the new nanomoco firmware now has this support. We'll start covering the uses-cases and how-to soon as it approaches the first version of the new firmware. You can, of course, check it out from subversion, but it does only support one axis per cpu.
